Sevilla Airport

Recently boasting a new terminal Sevilla airport (Seville airport) serves a predominantly business market from the Andalucian capital. Tourist traffic being focussed more on the airport at Malaga which serves the Costa del sol and sunseekers.

With the majority of traffic being business related the airport in Sevilla doesn't suffer the drastic summer / winter timetable differences and together with the local warm climate makes Sevilla the ideal out of season destination in Soutern Spain.

Transport to and from

With all passengers passing through one single modern terminal transport links are in one place and easily to hand once you step off the plane. With considerable cultural tourism and business interests in the city its easy to arrange transport or accomodation from inside the terminal at any one of the many hotel and tourist information kisoks.

• By road: Sevilla airport is clearly signposted from the motorway A-4 (Seville Madrid) and with dedicated slip roads the airport is easy to navigate to and from Sevilla and the surrounding cities of Cordoba, Huevla, Jaen and even Granada.
• By Taxi: Taxis complete the 10km trip between the airport and Sevilla city center in just 15 minutes (all being well traffic wise) and there are always plenty of taxis in the terminal rank. During normal daytime hours (0700-2100) the fare is just under 20€ with this rising to 22€ for hours outside the normal, weekends and public holidays.

• By Bus: From Seville airport the bus to the center of the city runs a minimum of every 30 minutes between 0545 and 0045 with increased frequencies during the peak travel times. At a bargain 2.30€ in each direction its a cheap and cheerful way to to pass the 30 minute journey into the city. Befitting of the airports status as the gateway to the Andalucian capital the range and breadth of services from Seville airport allows visitors to Spain to travel internally or even contemplate a weekend in North Africa.
